AFK Mob Killing Farm(Magma Block)

As we all know, Mojang removed ability for mob to spawn on magma block in one of the 1.10 snapshot.

This feature removal caused former magma block trap stop functioning.

However, there is another to bypass it but it require som 'extra' steps.

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

Things you will need:
1) Magma Block
2) Dungeons
3) Water Buckets

Steps:
1) You will need find a dungeon

2) You need to prevent mob spawn by placing lights around the spawners. You don't want mob spawning while working on farm right?
 
3) Now, you need to create a water flow that push mob toward a 'hole'

4) Put sign at the end of the water flow

5) Dig 3 block down and place magma block
 
6) Remove the light in the dungeon try allow mob spawn

Now you're done, you have the most basic magma block trap.

However, there's some add on you can add to improve the efficiency and safeness of the farm.

Safety fence addon:
The most basic design doesn't provide safety condition for player to collect the loot and AFK farming as the mob can still moving around.

To fix this, you'll need:
Fences(Any type)

Steps:
Pretty simple, just put fence in front magma block!

You can collect loot without being attacked by mobs!

By the way, this addon cause some of the loot became unobtainable... But don't worry, the next addon will resolve this issue!

Automatic Collector Addon:
Sometimes automatic makes things perfect right? This mob spawner can be modified to became fully automatic. You maximize amount of loot collected with this design.

The design can be vary.

You will need:
1) Hopper
2) Redstone
3) Rails
4) Powered Rails
5) Chests

Steps:
1) First you need to dig hole around the collecting point. Like this:

2) Now you need to construct railway system. For this part, it is up to users. I prefer using powered rail as the part of the railway system.

3) You need to place a chest and hopper as a collection point

4) Once you done create collection point, you will need to test the railway.

5) If the railway doesn't function properly try making some tweaks

6) Profit!

7) Oh yes, if you using this design. You should remove the fence because sometimes loot will drop through the fence and decrease the amount of loot collected.

Simple Surface Mushroom farm

Difficulty = Very Easy

Things you need:
Saplings(any type)
Bone meal (optional)
1-2 Mushrooms (any types)

Steps:
1) You need to grow the trees

2) Break the bottom part of tree

3) Plant mushroom

Done!

Minecraft : Superflat lag fix

In one of the 1.8 snapshots, there is a very annoying problem for the superflat players. The game will suffering high latency (in case you don't know, Singleplayer is run in internal server). This problem cause all the mob became slow responding and more harder to kill. It affect the mob loot dropping time and block dropping time. Fortunately, it doesn't affect block mining much. This problem is caused by large amount of slimes in superflat world.

Here is the way to fix it.
Go and set dirt level to level 55 (Note the value must be more than 40).

If you do it correctly, it should look like this.

Congratulations, you just created a new superflat world free from high latency problems.

How this trick fix the lag?
It is pretty simple, the spawn can only spawn between level 0 - 40. If I create a world with level more than level 40, it can prevent slimes from spawning. Also, there is no caves in superflat. The slimes can no longer spawn in my world unless I create a new room for it.

Minecraft : Sneaky way enter Ocean Monument(1.8)

Difficulty : Medium - Hard

The ocean monument is guarded by lot of guardians. Entering ocean monument directly from entrance require player fight the guardians. However, you can break into ocean monument without getting Mining Fatigue III.

Step 1) Locate Ocean Monument

 Step 2) Go underground and dig around until you found the ocean monument

 

Step 3) Break into it.

Step 4) Done! You just bypass tons of guardians without getting Mining Fatigue III!

 Notes:

1) Getting too near Elder Guardian give you Mining Fatigue III

2) Make sure well equipped before entering monument.

3) You can use the wall as cover to dodge the beam.

Minecraft : Healing your villager

Difficulty : Easy / Very hard

Method 1) Trading
In case you don't know, successful trading give them 10 second health regeneration potion effect.

Step 1) Find a injured villager

 Step 2) Trade with them

Step 3) Done!

Method 2) Beacon Way
Beacon regeneration buff allows your injured villager regenerate their health. This method use a lot of material but worth it.

Step 1) Build a Pyramid
Build 4 layer pyramid

 Step 2) Select your buff (Remember select the regeneration buff)

 Step 3) Done! Your villager will now heal themselves.

Minecraft Micro-Automatic Egg Farm

This Automatic Egg Farm is very tiny, cheap and easy to build.

Requirement
1 Hopper
Some blocks (Any type)
At least 2 chicken (The more the better)
1 Chest

Steps.
1) Place a block.

2) Place the hopper on top of it

3) Destroy the block you just placed

4) Place the chest

5) Build a 4 block high wall around the chest and hopper.

6) Cover up this part of wall.

7)Spawn some chicken into the hole.

8) Results

Notes:
1) You need a lot of chicken to make this farm collect a lot of egg fast.
2) Too many chicken = Too noisy

Now you just complete this mini automatic egg farm.
